Rentokil has great experience and knowledge in the Australian fumigation market. Our fumigation services range from strict quarantine requirements to museums artefacts to live flowers.
Being an isolated island and relying heavily on our agricultural exports, Australia has some of the world’s strictest requirements for fumigation of import/export and quarantine purposes. Many pests threaten our agricultural production so any fumigation of imported goods need to be done to exacting standards and are subject to rigorous audits by government bodies. Similarly, we rely heavily on our exports to overseas customers, so certain products need to be fumigated carefully to ensure that they are not only pest free but are in no way affected by fumigant residues.
Our team of highly trained and qualified fumigation experts is helping Australia’s economy on a daily basis to meet the critical needs of AQIS (Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service)
Rentokil offers fumigation of general goods such as bulk foodstuffs (grains, cereals etc), packaging, timber and furniture to treat a wide variety of pests. Fumigants include Methyl Bromide, Hydrogen Phosphide as well as our inert fumigants
Rentokil now offers dry and moist heat treatment facilities. Heat treatment is for both import and export of goods for the sterilization and or devitalisation of the product without the use of toxic gases. Some products heat treatment is suitable for include birdseeds, grains, herbs, bark products, Bali grass thatching, water hyacinth and moss products. Due to health and safety concerns the company can also send a reprehensive to clients to ensure products are unpacked in the safest way after fumigation (Gas free checking on container fumigated overseas).
