Rentokil supporting local communities

Soccer is fast becoming one of the most popular sports in Australia. This season, as part of our “protecting our local community and homes” initiative, Rentokil is proud to be assisting more than 2000 junior players across nine soccer clubs in the Sydney and Brisbane areas. As part of the support, Rentokil has provided funds for sports gear and equipment, and Springfield United's Pye Augustine said that the sponsorship had come at a crucial time for the club. "This investment, which has gone towards purchasing new jerseys and playing equipment, will help us achieve our bottom line and assist in building the club even further."

“ By partnering up with Rentokil, we are creating more opportunities for our juniors – all the kids can now train together and learn the same techniques, regardless of age or level” said Dr Di Stefano Technical Director of Caringbah Redbacks
“North Lakes Mustangs Soccer Club is one of the largest sporting clubs in North Lakes and associating ourselves with strong secure sponsors like Rentokil helps us keep this status in the community,” said Mr Allan President of North Lakes Mustangs Soccer Club

Rentokil has also provided entertainment and giveaways before and after matches. Everyone seemed to love the particularly challenging soccer ball in the termite nest game and one skilful player was proud to be able to say “I'm getting much better at this game, it’s very entertaining”. Spectators at games have noted that “the kids love the balloons” and said that it’s “good to see Rentokil supporting local sports”.

We’d like to thank the teams, which have all given us such wonderful, positive and heart-felt feedback: Baulkham Hills St Michael's Knight, Caringbah Redbacks, Carss Park, Castle Hill United and Cronulla Seagulls in NSW, and North Lakes Mustangs, North Pine United, Springfield Kookaburras and Springfield United in QLD. We are so proud to be able to provide support for the clubs and are looking forward to growing with them in the future.
