Appearance

•  48cm in length. 1.5 – 2kg in weight.
•  Elongated hind legs and long ears.

Lifecycle

•  Breeds January - August. Gestation period 4 weeks.
•  2 -4 litters per annum. 3 - 6 young per litter.
•  May conceive 2 days after giving birth.

Habits

•  Found in hedgerows, banking, woods, gardens, farms etc.
•  Juveniles move up to 4km after breeding season.
•  Damage caused by rabbits is estimated at £100 million per annum.
